The Scandinavian online bookmaker
recently made an announcement that it will implement certain measures to protect its clients. PAF is looking to cut down its customer loss limit by €5000. It was previously introduced at €30000, but rising concerns about gambling problems pushed the genuine book to lower it, in order to strengthen its previously made promise to prevent society from loosing “their houses and homes”.
Such an honourable move deserves some praise, however, it was calculated that the newly introduced change will result in a 2% annual revenue loss, which is estimated to be around €2 million. PAF authorities are aware of such a loss but hope that customers will appreciate the position they took.
PAF’s CEO and Chief Responsibility Officer also commented on a matter: “We are also encouraging others in the gaming industry to follow suit”.
