One anonymous bettor became famous for placing massive bets on the NBA. Last year, a few weeks prior to the season start, one NBA fan placed a $67,000 wager on the Golden State Warriors to make the playoffs at the odds of 1.01 (1/100). The guy scored $670 that time. 

He was spotted once again at the same high-street bookmaker wagering some, what was called, “Philly Special”.  This time the punter went nuts and placed $100,500 on Philadelphia 76ers to make playoffs at 1.02 (1/50). In case of success, the tipster will only win $2,010.

Do you think it is worth it? Well, the bettor paid another visit a couple of days later and placed another $10,000 bet this time on Milwaukee Bucks to make the playoffs at 1.01 (1/100).

With all the recent roster changes both Bucks and 76ers are favourites to come out of the East at 2.25 (5/4) and 2.50 (3/2) respectively.
