Trump without a chance for presidency? As for today, the main favorite of bookmakers is the 69 year old Hillary Clinton, wife of former president of USA Bill Clinton. Her opponent, the American entrepreneur and well-known for his scandalous speeches politician, Donald Trump is not given chances by bookmakers. But, is it really so?
It is still much time until the end of the pre-election campaign and much can happen. But, if the elections took place today Hillary Clinton would win with a 7% advantage over her opponent (polls of Reuters/Ipsos for 17.08.2016). This is, however, nothing in comparison to the advantage the First lady would get over the billionaire in his home city, where he was born, raised and spent virtually whole life. If citizens of the New York state decided the choice of the candidate then the advantage of the democratic candidate would make 30% (57%-27%). This could be a strike into the heart for Trump, who is guilty for it himself.
From the first day of the pre-election campaign his speeches have been scandalous. He names the Mexicans and Latinos criminals and abusers and wants to build a wall along the boarder in order to stop the immigration wave, for which the Mexicans themselves should pay. The first decision after being elected president is to leave the World trade organization and then rehabilitate relations with the second superpower – Russia. Both democrats and republicans criticize his speeches abusing the high-powered senator and veteran of the Vietnam War, John McCain and his mockeries over the Muslim family of the killed in Iraq officer of the American army. Statements about Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, who allegedly are the creators of the so-called ISIS do not increase his number of supporters.
In case of the win, Hillary Clinton will become the first woman-president of the United StatesThe former First Lady and the ex-State secretary – Hillary Clinton is the most predicted candidate. Her speeches are bound and more thought through, what does not mean that they are boring. She has her own opinion for virtually any topic and can persistently and successfully defend it. In comparison to slightly straightforward New York billionaire she looks as a skillful politician in diplomatic mastery and also self-confident, experienced and such who cannot let unbalance oneself. In case of a possible win at the elections one of her first decisions will be a reform on tax laws, which concerns international corporations, operating abroad but using tax privileges in United States. Then she also wants to introduce free education for financed by the state universities. She promises closer ties with actual allies.
The main difference of these two candidates is the way of expression of one’s thoughts. While the in love with himself Donald Trump starts his phrases with the word “I”, Hillary Clinton prefers to say “we”. “We can…”, “We will do…”. Her statements remind formulation of the actual president Barack Obama.
